The Congregation of the Brothers of Christian Instruction is organized into provinces and districts that cover our global presence. This structure enables effective governance while respecting cultural diversity.
Our governance follows a model of shared leadership and collegial decision-making, with several key bodies:
The supreme governing body that meets every six years. It consists of elected representatives from all regions and makes major decisions about the congregation's direction.
Assists the Superior General in governing the congregation between chapters. It includes the Vicar General and four councilors representing different geographical areas.
Governss a province
Each province holds its own chapter every three years to address regional matters and elect provincial leadership.
Assists the Provincial Superior in governing the province between chapters.
